Description:

The Self-Assessment/Planning Tool for Implementing Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services (SAPT) was developed in response to findings from a two part study contracted by AHCA to examine new Medicaid services intended to promote the recovery and rehabilitation of adults with severe mental illnesses (Winarski, Thomas, Dhont, & Orr, 2006; Winarski, Thomas, & DeLuca, 2007). The SAPT survey instrument, Planning and Implementation Guide, and process for using a web based platform for data collection were tested as part of the initial pilot conducted with seven Florida agencies (Winarski, Dow, Hendry, Robinson, & Peters, 2008).
