The focus of this project is on assisting the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to meet its statutory requirement to receive involuntary exam initiation forms from Baker Act receiving facilities and to create the required annual report. That includes funding for processing of the data, as well as development of a system to improve and streamline reporting of data. This year we began the development of a system for Baker Act receiving facilities to enter data online, as opposed to mailing the forms to the Baker Act Reporting Center. Finally, analyses of Medicaid enrollment data associated with involuntary exam initiations were conducted.
