MHLP Welcomes Dr. Beom Lee

 

Dr. Lee joins MHLP as a Visiting Assistant Professor with a joint appointment with the Department of Economics, where he’ll be teaching.  His academic/research home will be here in MHLP, although he’s expected to serve as a resource for all of FMHI and the BCS College.  Dr. Lee provides expertise in economic modeling and advanced statistical procedures (including Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation, Sequential Importance Sampling, growth mixture models) – areas that will certainly complement and enhance our research projects here at MHLP/FMHI/BCS. Dr. Lee also has experience working with multidisciplinary research teams, and is interested in pathways and predictors of antisocial behavior among adolescents and forecasting of terrorism.
