Governance Council Members

Current Council Membership and Operations

Members of the Council are Annette Christy, Kathy Moore, Debby Morriss, Rhonda Ort, Airia Sasser, and Greg Teague.  Greg Teague agreed to serve as Chair of the Council, Rhonda Ort as Recorder. Minutes will be taken by a member of the support staff, usually Becky Hatten, and the Recorder will coordinate the editing and distribution process. Meeting agenda and minutes will be posted on the Council’s web page.

The Council meets approximately biweekly. Meetings are open.  Department members are welcome to request in advance that items be placed on the agenda. At the beginning of each meeting there will be an opportunity for Department members to bring up new business as needed. Roger Peters (possibly with Roger Boothroyd and/or Michelle Kunkel) will participate in at least the first part of one meeting each month to provide an update and to address specific topics. A meeting will be scheduled to occur approximately one week prior to the quarterly Department meeting to allow for collaborative agenda development.
