Community Action Grant for Co-occurring Disorders (SAMHSA-CMHS)
About the Project
This project was funded by SAMHSA’s Center for Mental Health Services and provides a forum for strategic planning among mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice, and consumer advocacy organizations from the Hillsborough County area to improve services for persons with co-occurring disorders. The project has resulted in a web-based training curriculum, hiring of staff within service agencies to enhance service integration, development of practice guidelines, and implementation of a practice network that has stimulated change in other service districts throughout the State.
